Arlington's Bidder Registration

Arlington County's Sourcing and iSupplier systems which incorporate bidder registration and solicitations is upgrading to a new release on July 22nd. The system will be down from Thursday, July 18th at 5pm through Monday, July 22nd at Noon. The upgrade will include minor changes to the systems’ appearance such as color scheme, background layouts, navigation menus and login screens. Updates (including new step-by-step documents) will be posted on the “iSupplier Registration & Responding To Bid Opportunities” webpage before the system goes live on July 22nd.

(http://arlingtonva.us/departments/ManagementAndFinance/purchasing/page86254.aspx) To kick off the upgrade, Purchasing has scheduled two Supplier Outreach Training dates: One on Thursday, July 25, 2013 from 1-2 PM & another on Thursday, August 1, 2013 from 1-2 PM. The initial presentation will be held from 1-2pm in the County Board Room (2100 Clarendon Blvd, 3rd floor), followed by a hands-on demonstration to help vendors navigate through the upgraded system, receive iSupplier registration & profile management assistance, and ask any pertinent questions should they have any.

This is a good time to review your supplier profile and ensure that you have a valid email associated with your profile to ensure that a valid email is receiving the notifications from Arlington County. Our records indicate that you have registered as a supplier, but you have not selected any commodity codes to associate with you as a supplier. In order to be notified of solicitations, you must select commodity codes so that the system knows which solicitations you should receive. Please, do not hesitate to contact the Purchasing Team if you have any questions and/or concerns.
